Meet Directions – MS State Championships – MS Boys and Girls

Date:  Saturday, October 25, 2008.

Car Departure Time: 6:00AM.  We will meet in the Publix parking lot behind the Race Trac Store on the corner on Barrett Parkway and Old Hwy 41 to car pool together!

                    

Where:  Bleckley County Elementary, Cochran, GA

Directions: Take I-75 South to Macon.  Get on I-16 heading east towards Savannah.  Get off at Exit 6(Eastman/Cochran exit) a few miles outside of Macon and turn right at bottom of ramp onto 23/87.  Go about 20 miles and you will come to a 4-way stop, keep going straight, right past this 4-way stop, should see sign that says Cochran 14 miles.  When you get right outside Cochran, right lane goes to downtown Cochran, left lane goes to By-pass, take left hand lane (23/87 by-pass).  Go 2 miles and come to a red-light (sign says Dykes Street), Chevron station on your right.  Turn left at red light onto Hwy. 26 go 1/4 mile and Bleckley Co. Elementary School will be on your right. 

Awards:  Top 3 teams and top 25 individuals in each race.

Immediately After Last Race!

* Come prepared for all types of weather, even rain!   We will warm up in our black sweat top and pant.  Wear your uniform shorts under sweat pant and pack your uniform top in your bag.  Bring a bag with extra team shirts, socks (extra socks for warm up, race and cool down), and clothes to change into after racing. Bring $ to stop and eat on the way home.
